Hello, Hello! That's what Mister Linus said we're supposed to say. Hi everyone, Argyle here. I'm a ginger tabby cat and one of the new Co-Administrators of Cute Bear's Blog.
And I'm Phoebe the other Co-Administrator. I'm a mostly black Calico. Skye Mommie says I'm like a double chocolate fudge brownie with a bit of caramel and cream. Everything I say will be in Pink, I like pink, it looks good with my somewhat fluffy black fur.
Everything I say will be in Blue, I like blue and it looks pretty good with my peachy orange fur. There are pictures of us to the right that Delaney Mommie took with the old camera.
Argyle's kind of fluffy too, especially his tail. Hee hee! Delaney Mommie needs to get some better pictures of us Argy, those look really bad.
That's why the Mommies got a new camera. They'll get better pictures of us, Phoebe, then Delaney Mommie will put them on the Blog for us.
Do you think we should tell everyone about the big move? That's what Mister Linus would do.
That's a good idea, Phoebe, and yes that is what Mister Linus would do. We've been here in the new place a few weeks now and it's pretty nice. There are trees outside the windows.
We aren't used to having trees so close by. It's kind of fun to watch the leaves move when the wind blows. Trees are really nice to look at this close too. Xena likes to sit on the window sill and watch the birds, she's been telling us all about birds that she learned from her Kitty Momma, "Baby" and "Tigger" the Patriarch of Baby's kitty clan back in Florida. That's where Xena was born.
Skye Mommie rescued Xena from a very scary thunderstorm when she was just a little kitten, but Xena was born outside. She knows all about birds and bugs and grasses.
Don't forget about acorns. Xena said they were very scary when they fell off the Oak trees.
Mister Linus says Dogs are scarier than acorns. There is a dog here in the this house. It's really big, brown and it hangs around in the hallway. It sniffs a lot when it sees us and it has really big teeth too!
Caigann and Beyla like the dog. They said it's name is Curly and it's their friend. I've seen it a few times and it looks scary to me. They like to go out the door with the Mommies and play with the dog, but they come back smelling funny.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010Cute Bear's Passing
We have the sad news to report that our beloved Mister Linus o'Schnick has left us and now walks the Rainbow road with his brother Simba and sister Luna. His health has been failing slowly but he was our sweet Cute Bear right to the end.

He will be dearly missed by his mommies and fellow kittes, but his words of wisdom will live on. The world according to Cute Bear will be co-administered by our adorable pair Argyl and Phoebe who offen start conversations with Mister Linus said...

We are honored for the many years we knew and loved him and for all the wonderful memories he gave us. We will remember him with every bowl of pop corn, every time we see mashed potatoes we will recall that fast paw. He was also affectionally known as Bugsey Bear, Mister Kitty, The Big Mister Squeeshy and The Blanket Monster. Gone but never forgotten. We will love you always and forever, Sweet Linus O'Schnick.

The mommies got some new cloth and are making up a batch of Scrappies, so they'll be adding new stuff real soon! They still have a really great sale at their Etsy shop with free shipping on all the Scrappy Cat items! It's a great time to stock up and save money! Your kitties could sure use a new toy to distract them from the heat and those annoying birdies outside the window.

We've got a few new inspection photos too from the last batch of kitty toys so Mommie's going to add those in here too!

Well, my favorite food dish is almost empty, I've got to go er-rar-rar at Girlie and make sure she fills it back up! Did I hear somebody say pop corn and a movie for after the fireworks? Catch ya later and hope you had a great Memorial Day picnic if you're in the USA. I like holidays, there's lots of food!

Friday, May 21, 2010Summer Sale!
Hello, Hello!

Cute Bear here. My Mommies are having a big Summer Sale at both of their Etsy shops! How cool is that?

Visit our Scrappy Cat Etsy shop at http://TheScrappyCatC.etsy.com for FREE SHIPPING in the US and Canada on ALL of the Scrappy Cat items! If they sell a bunch of them we'll get to test a new batch of Catnip! HeeHee!!!

Stop by Gaelic Knot Studio at http://GaelicKnotStudio.etsy.com for FREE SHIPPING in the US and Canada on ALL the Hand-Knotted Jewelry! It's made with white linen cord imported from Ireland plus the necklaces and bracelets are hypo-allergenic since they contain no metal!
Mommie also reduced the prices on her hand-knotted round mats.

I like that cord, it's fun to grab. So buy something, then they'll have to make more and we can play with it again! We aren't supposed to chew on it though.

Well the food dish is calling my name so I've got to go. Plus Girlie just scooped my favorite box so I'd better get in there before someone else stinks it up! Catch ya later!

Friday, April 30, 2010Hello, Hello!
I Tweeted yesterday! That was fun. I like seeing all the other Kitties out there in Twitterland, but I wanna get that bird! So if you're on Twitter follow me and I'll follow you too!

Mommie and Girlie are fostering a couple of cute female kitties. I'm not supposed to think they smell good any more, but they do. They were inside/outside kitties and you know what that means... we've got new Kittens in the house again! Mommie said she's going to get some pictures and post them here! They sure are cute.

I've got to go, the Indoor Formula Cat Food is calling out to me!

Ooo! There's a fly in the house! Hey Xena! We've got a fly to get! Great time to start hunter training for all these new students too! Somebodies gotta teach them, right?

Monday, April 26, 2010Hello out there!
I've been feeling playful the past few days. I laid in the hall and got Girlie's foot when she went by. Hee Hee! I forgot how much fun that was. I even played with a little piece of cardboard somebody else scratched off our hiding box. We have a really great old U-Haul box that we take turns hiding in and getting eachother.

We also have an old Ramen Noodle box to play in, but I don't fit in that any more. Xena used to sneak into the kitchen cupboard and hide in the Ramen box to get away from those "Pooties" when we lived in Florida. That's where Xena was born. She was little and scared, so the mommies let her hide in it, and told her she'd be safe there. Xena's always been shy. She doesn't like getting her picture taken, but I don't know why. I think she's pretty. I know she misses the outside, but I tell her she's much safer inside.

I got outside once and two big dogs chased me. I was really scared. It was days before I felt safe enough to go home. Mommie and Girlie were afraid I was dead. Mommie held me and held me when I came home.

I smell new cat nip! Mommie must be getting ready to make more Scrappies! I hope I get one! Hint. Hint!

I got two Flavors of Greenies for my birthday, beef and chicken! That was really great. Girlie opened a brand new bag of Kitty food and we all got Greenies! It was fun. I also got lots of extra snuggles in the soft fleece blankets from both mommie and girlie, plus lots and lots of lovies and a really great neck scratch. It was a good day.

I better go. Time for a nibble or two. I wonder if I can get Girlie's foot again if I lay in the hall...
